Harbor Point’s the place to be this summer and we’ve got some major proof for ya including a duo of car shows, a BBQ, outdoor movies, a 5K that presents a justified reason to drink beer and eat from food trucks:

There will be vintage cars, monster trucks, hot rods, Ferraris, Corvettes, and bikes at the Harbor Point Car Show! Checking out the hot cars is free, but if you’d like to register to show off your car, it’s $20 per car with proceeds going to Wounded Warrior Project. In addition to checking out the cars, you can also take part in raffles, listen to some live music, and see who the winners of some coveted trophies are. When you’re done checking out the cars, just round the corner and get a killer brunch or lunch at Paloma!

Commons Park
The HP Farmers’ Market will feature produce and items from Country Farm II and other local vendors. The Hut will also be open and serving up breakfast as well as lunch. Plus, you can park for free at the lot on Atlantic Street/Washington Boulevard.
Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, rice and beans, coleslaw, corn bread…wow.

Dinosaur Bar-B-QueParking Lot
Harbor Point will be filled with even more classic cars with the sweet smell of BBQ in the air. Entry for viewers is free, but if you’d like to register your car to show, the cost is $10 with proceeds going to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County.
Father’s Day @ Dinosaur Bar-B-Que Stamford
6/21, starting at 2
Dinosaur will donate 5% of sales on Father’s Day to the Boomer Esiason Foundation which helps to care for those with cystic fibrosis. There will be live music, BBQ (DUH!), games to play, and pretty sweet signed Boomer football memorabilia raffles to spoil your dad with.
6/20 from 10:30-2:30
Take a hop, take some skips, and take a run around Kosciuszko Park in Harbor Point in this unconventional 5K from Half Full Brewery.Registration is $40.03 and that includes entry to the race and festival, a t-shirt, and a free beer.
At the festival afterwards, you can buy extra beer, but be sure to bring cash. Also, if racing ain’t yo thang, you could also register for just the festival for $16.82 and that also includes a free beer. In addition, you can look forward to playing games like life-size Jenga and cornhole, eating at some food trucks, and jamming out to some music. It’s a perfect way to spend a perfect day and we had a blast last year.
